EAGE provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and contacts to pursue a career in geosciences and the engineering industry. The next opportunity for students will be the student programme at the 79th EAGE Conference & Exhibition from 12 June to 15 June 2017. The student programme continues to expand and develop, while maintaining core fundamental offerings in up-to-date industry knowledge and skill development.

5 Facts about Paris
Many centuries ago when the first settlers in Paris were scrubbing their clothes on the muddy banks of the Seine, the city that would be founded on that spot was not referred to as Paris. Paris’s original name was Lutetia Parisiorum (called Lutèce in French), and the settlers there were Celts known as the “Parisii.”
