First EAGE/AMGP/AMGE Latin-American Seminar on Unconventional Resources

EAGE, AMGP ( Asociación Mexicana de Geólogos Petroleros) and AMGE ( Asociación Mexicana de Geofísicos de Exploración) have joined forces for the organization of the First EAGE/AMGP/AMGE Latin-American Seminar in Unconventional Resources. The event will be held from 23-24 November 2017 in Mexico City.

Mexico’s place in the top ten of countries with shale oil and gas resources makes the seminar an opportunity to learn about current and potential gas projects in Mexico. Also research into unconventionals continues to play an important role in safeguarding our energy future. The current dip in oil prices does not question the future of this research. Especially in Mexico and the rest of Latin-America there is a renewed interest in all things unconventional.

The format of the seminar is grouped around 3 general topics, with in total 45 presentations. Each presentation will have 30 minutes. The topic will be closed by a wrap up with the purpose of making the exchange of opinions. This event is especially targeted at the Latin American market and its specific challenges.
