EAGE Workshop on Seismic Inversion for Reservoir Characterisation

Join us in Perth!

EAGE is pleased to announce the EAGE Workshop on Seismic Inversion for Reservoir Characterisation scheduled 16 - 17 November 2017 in Perth, Australia.

Seismic inversion has become an indispensable and widely used technology in the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons and the data are quite attractive for guiding the mapping of properties like facies distribution or porosity in reservoir modelling. Improving inversion data through broadband processing has seen significant advances in recent years. With the additional amount of data inherent in broadband seismic amplitudes, practitioners can now characterise their reservoirs with increasing clarity and certainty. Join us for the latest in a collaborative industry environment.

Preceding the workshop, Education Days Perth will be scheduled from 13 - 15 November 2017 featuring three training courses on different geoscience topics that have been selected by an advisory committee. Read more.
