The body of the extended abstract must be uploaded using the APGCE 2017 Template.

Your abstract should be a minimum of two (2) pages and/or maximum of four (4) pages long, including all figures and references (exclusive of the cover page).

Anti-Plagiarism Statement

EAGE invites the presentation of new and original material in a range of multi-disciplinary topics in Geoscience and Engineering. The EAGE takes plagiarism very seriously. Therefore, if an extended abstract or paper, after careful review, examination and consideration, is rejected on the basis of plagiarism, ALL authors of the abstract/paper will be denied the opportunity for further abstract submissions for the following three (3) years. Note that this means that NO abstracts/papers from ANY of the authors (as author or co-author on subsequent papers) will be accepted for ANY EAGE event (Annual Meeting or Workshop) for a period of three (3) years starting on the date of the event for which the paper was originally submitted.


Confirm Participation

APGCE has no funding for speakers. Do not submit an abstract unless at least one (1) author is certain to attend the conference. If your presentation is selected by the Technical Programme Committee, we expect you to attend and participate in APGCE 2017.


Permission to Present

Please ensure you have received a proper permission to present your work.
If your presentation involves PETRONAS activities, please take note of the PETRONAS Submission Guidelines when submitting your extended abstract.


Selection Process

The Selection Committee will consider all extended abstracts submitted to the EAGE Head Office by 28 April 2017, 23.59 hrs (GMT +2) that are according to the guidelines mentiones in the above and in the template. Authors will be notified of the outcome by mid-June 2017. The technical programme selection meeting has then taken place and the technical programme with definite session titles and presentation allocation is composed.
