Join us in Kuala Lumpur!
From 7 to 27 September 2017, EAGE is happy to welcome you to join the learning community and participate the Education Days Kuala Lumpur. The sprawling capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers including the iconic, 451m-tall PETRONAS Twin Towers. Kuala Lumpur is located in Malaysia; a Southeast Asian country occupying the Malaysian Peninsula and part of the island of Borneo. It's known for its beaches, rain forests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European influences.
As Malaysia is a tropical country, the weather is generally warm with the average temperature of between 28 to 32 Celsius throughout the year.
While Bahasa Melayu is the official language, English is widely spoken especially for business purposes.
The official currency of Malaysia is the Malaysian ringgit. Based on xe.com, the exchange rate is approximately USD 1 = RM 4.29.
Visa requirements for travel to Malaysia differ from country to country. Please contact the Malaysia Embassy in your country of residence for more information.
