Yangon is an amalgamation of British, Burmese, Chinese and Indian influences, and is known for its colonial architecture which, remains an almost unique example of a 19th-century British colonial capital. New high-rise buildings were constructed from the 1990s as the government began to allow private investment. However, Yangon continues to be a city of the past with their unique heritages and cultures.
To enjoy a pleasant stay in Myanmar,the best time to go is between November and February. This is a great timing as it is the end of monsoon season but before the heat waves.
While Burmese is the official language, English is widely spoken; especially for business purposes.
The official currency of Myanmar is the Myanmar Kyat. The exchange rate is approximately USD 1 = MMK 1,361.90 (as of 4 Dec 2017). The rate is subject to change according to the industry climate condition.

Lightweight clothing is ideal with a wrap, sweater or jacket for the premises. Visitors is advised to bring an umbrella to avoid heatstroke.
